Softball fans, rejoice: Non-stop action is coming your way.
The 2024 Junior League Softball World Series begins with a slate of six games on Sunday, July 28. All of the action throughout the tournament, which runs through Sunday, August 3, can be streamed live on ESPN+.
Ten teams representing regions from around the world are split into two pools of five; the top two teams from each region advance to the semifinals, setting the stage for a traditional single-elimination bracket. All of the games are played in Kirkland, Wash.
This year marks the 23rd iteration of the competition, which has been held annually (except for 2020 and 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic) since 1999.
The team from Bago, Philippines, won the competition last season, beating the representatives from Milford, Conn., in the championship game.
