CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — The Motor Vehicle Title and Registration side of the Canyon County DMV will be closed the week of Nov. 8 through Nov. 12.
DMV officials say the closure is "due to unexpected circumstances." The DMV is expected to reopen on Monday, Nov. 15.
Officials say If you had an appointment scheduled for next week, you should be contacted by email to reschedule your appointment.
Residents are also encouraged to utilize the online services available through the Idaho Transportation Department’s website to renew their registration.
The closure will not affect the Driver's License side of the DMV.
Assessor Brian Stender and Motor Vehicle Supervisor Kimbra Asqueta apologized for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
" (We) will do out best to minimize wait times when the office reopens on Monday, Nov. 15 but residents can expect longer than usual wait times after being closed for a week," the DMV said in a press release.
