Nitesh Tiwari’s speculated Ramayan has sparked speculation due to its star-studded cast. The film - Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. Bhatt was expected to play Sita but it looks like she won’t be playing the part.As per a new report in a leading news portal, Alia Bhatt is no longer a part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan. The actress has opted out of the project owing to a scheduling conflict. The report also mentions that Ranbir Kapoor is still a part of the project.
Early reports suggested that Ranbir Kapoor will play Ram while Yash is roped in to play Raavan. Yash is still in the process of being finalised in the film. Ramayan is reportedly a three-part movie that will go into production by the end of the year. However, the project has not been finalised.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in Heart of Stone, a spy thriller starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The film which was released last month, marks her Hollywood debut.
